About Us

“India Cultural Association of the Bay Area”, was formed in 1974. ICA is a non profit organization.

The mission of this organization to introduce and enhance our heritage and culture of India and promote through various cultural, religious and social programs. The goal of ICA is to bring our community closer and together to celebrate our rich heritage and diverse culture.

ICA offers various events throughout the year which includes — Ram Navmi, Yatra Bus/Trip, Sugam Sangit, Navratri, Cultural Program, Diwali dinner & dance etc.

Your membership fee is very little compare to what you are getting throughout the year. Most of our programs are free for ICA members.

Events

Navaratri

Navratri, also spelled Navaratri or Navarathri, is a multi-day Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn every year. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent.

Holi

Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and Nepal, also known as the “festival of colours” or the “festival of love”.

Diwali

Diwali or Deepavali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated every year in autumn in the northern hemisphere.
